Four Screen Sizer

The Four Screen Stack Sizer was designed to size product into four different sizes, and has a large dust container below the screens to catch any pecan meal and small shell that is not wanted. In many shelling operations, this sizer is placed immediately after a sheller to separate similar sizes of nut meat and shell into separate containers. It can be used to feed blowers or aspirators for air separating of nut meat and shell or the product can be caught in drums.

This sizer can hold a maximum of four screens. The screen sizes are 18 in. wide x 42 in. long. The availabe hole sizes of the screens are 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, and 5/8. The screen material is round hole perforated 16 GA. Steel Sheet that has been zinc plated. Other hole sizes may be available by special request.

All food contact surfaces are sanitary stainless steel except for the sizing screens which are zinc plated steel.

Maintenance

Maintenance schedules depend on the hours of operation. At an appropriate interval, perform the following steps.

• With an appropriate cleaner, clean the screens, discharge chutes, and dust tray.
• With a damp cloth, wipe dust and debris from the frame and mechanical parts.
• Apply food grade grease to the Excentric Bearings, Shaker Frame Pivot Pin, and the Spring Pivot Pins
• Check Drive Belt for wear, and replace if necessary.
