Cyclone Head Blower

Cyclone Head Blower

The Cyclone Head Blower is a time proven design! It is easy to operate and simple to maintain.

The Cyclone Head Blower is sold in two sizes: 8 inch (Model Number ME-B-1-8) and 9 inch (Model Number ME-B-1-9) Shown Here. The 8 and 9 inch dimensions refer to the Blower's trunk dimensions (8 inch square trunk or 9 inch square trunk). The larger the trunk is, the more product the blower is capable of separating.

This Blower passes the pecan nut meat and shell through a column of air. Because of the difference of density between the nut meat and shell, the shell is blown off leaving only nut meat and tiny particles of shell. Multiple blowing stages may be used to acquire a greater degree of separation. In addition, the Blower's air flow rate can be adjusted to account for smaller or larger pieces or halves. The air flow rate adjustment is simple; just turn the Air Flow Adjustment Disk Clockwise to decrease the air flow rate and Counter-Clockwise to increase the air flow rate.

Each Blower is supplied with three Baffle Screens for halves, medium pieces, and small pieces. Also included is a single or three phase motor depending on what the customer wants.

Maintenance

The Cyclone Head Blower is relatively maintenance free. Just remember to periodically clean the blower baffle screen so that the airflow is not restricted.

Also, periodically clean out the blower wheel housing by first turning the blower off and unplugging it from it's power source. Next, open the clean-out door located on the bottom of the blower wheel housing and remove any debris that may be in the bottom of the housing. Follow these simple steps, and the Modern Electronics and Equipment Cyclone Head Blower will last for many years.
